Emile, Spies lie a lot, regardless of their nationality. They always have and always will; it is the nature of the profession. We all know that there is a powerful political bloc in Israel which regards any accommodation and any step toward peace as surrender. Much as a powerful political bloc in the US believed for a long time that any accommodation with any socialist state, anywhere, was surrender. The JFK conspiracy hardly seems credible. No such plan would be attempted unless the Mossad was convinced that LBJ would be more receptive to Israel's nuclear program than JFK was, which was obviously not the case. They had nothing to gain and a huge amount to lose if caught. I don't think even you believe that they are stupid. Fascinating, though, that a publicly funded educational institution, even an insignificant one, would choose to promote this one of so many conspiracy theories. Also fascinating, though predictable, that you would latch onto this particular conspiracy theory, perhaps the least rational of the many surrounding this event. None of this supports in any way your apparent belief that all Jews everywhere are agents of a 2000 year-old conspiracy to slaughter Christians, conquer the world, and force us all to wear yarmulkes. Emile, There is little doubt that the CIA was behind the Kennedy assassinations, both John and Robert. They were both bungled investigations with missing evidence and cover up reports. But I think it was the anti-communist faction of the CIA and they were motivated by Kennedy's refusal to fight communism and treasonous secret plans to subvert the US constitution and join the US and Soviet Union into a single superstate. The assumption being this would end the threat of nuclear war, which clearly made him pee in his pants for fear. Bob To you folks who are laughing so hard right now, the plans to join the Soviet Union and the US are no hoax or conspiracy theory fantasy. It's for real and it is finally happening now 40+- years after the plans were made.

As a matter of fact, I happen to know for sure that it was a Mob hit in retaliation for the Bay of Pigs fiasco that failed to get the Mafia back their major money-laundering operation in Cuba -- something both JFK and Robert Kennedy had promised them. A very good friend of mine had an uncle in the Chicago Mafia who played golf regularly with the Chicago don. He often was their caddy and on one occasion overheard them discussing the hit as it was the biggest thing the Cosa Nostra had ever pulled off. Jack Ruby, another Mob connected figure was later paid off for taking out Oswald. FT
