Tim, sorry to see you go, you seem like a decent guy, but c'est la vie... I for one don't think SI should honor your request. You are definitely more of a straight shooter than TM, but I bet TM draws more people to SI than you do. If SI bows to your demand, whats to keep TM (or Jenna or anyone else that has popular thread) from also laying down demands. (for example, TM says "Listen SI, unless you close down Tim's thread, I am out of here...). SI has rules about abusive language, if TM was breaking those rules he should be warned and if he continued to break them he should be kicked off, I would have supported that, as would many others...but what you are asking for is just plain wrong...basically you are saying, its OK to let abusive language continue, but the cost to SI will be $2000....this is exactly why I wanted to know what the "demands" were before lining up for support...I would have supported equal enforcement of the rules for all members, but not this, what good does it do? What about the next time TM uses abusive language, another $2000 donation to someone? Seems like a silly demand to me. Besides, I have have only been an SI member for about 3 months (lurker for much longer) and I have seen you swear that you have never come back to SI at least three times...I will beleive it when I see it. Good luck to you whatever you decide...but this "I am leaving and never coming back" routine is getting kind of old...

TIM......STAY!!!!!! What a disappointment for me that I was only able to enjoy your posts for a short time. PLEASE LET US KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. Like I said before, your the "genuine article" and that's hard to find. Thanks for all your help. Hope to find you at another site. Donna

Tim I only met you on this board about 2 weeks ago would you please post here the magazine articles that will be coming out I don't blame you for the decision you made please please let us know where you are.How about a few for advise site ? Thanx for everything. d.austin
