Just looking at AMD's numbers,

Revenue 788.8MM
Units shipped 4Q98 = 5MM (which i am assuming includes mobile chips)

Exerpt from Intel News Release
"He added that Intel shipped less of its low-cost Celeron processors than it had expected, but that demand for its higher-end, more expensive Pentium II chips was far more robust than it had forecast.

That, coupled with continued cost-cutting helped boost the gross margin in the fourth quarter. During the quarter, Intel took the wraps off speedier Celeron chips, designed to regain market share lost to rival Advanced Micro Devices Inc., introduced faster Pentium II and Pentium II Xeon chips."

INTC
Revenue = 7.6B

I can't find the number of units shipped......

Oh well, I wouldn't know how to get the number of chips used in the server segment. INTC would have to show a break-out of each type of chip.

Can anyone help?
