You are right. It's good to see that most investors here don't lose focus in spite of Brazil being all over the news, yet AOL gets no revenues from Brazil. OTOH, so many great AOL stories crossed the desk today that it is hard to keep up with them all. Most important was the broadband DSL deal with Bell Atlantic. But there were other stories as well. AOL signed an agreement with Dragon systems for voice recognition technology. Broadband with voice recognition.... setting up for the next generation AOL client. Then just the other day there were stories about Compuserve signing a deal with the New York Times and Netscape developing a new state of the art client. All of this on top of AOL's 1M new subscribers in December, 3 1/2 times more internet sales than last year, and on and on.

And in spite of this, AOL dives down to 130 this morning, allegedly because of the Brazilian situation... give me a break. I think the specialists use situations like this to try to shake out as many nervous investors as possible, lining up the sales first, to drive the price down, then the buys later. I just wish I would have had money in my account to scoop up some of those 130 shares.
