I've purchased several item from Bid.com in the last few months and believe that although their site seems a bit "cartoonistic" it was probably designed that way to be less intimidating to the average user. By the way, the service was perfect. One item was delivered in less than 48 hours.

I was there today and got an error 404!!

They have a button for "make a wish -- tell us about some feature you'd like to see. I told them I wish'd they'd fix the error 404. <g>
