Let's turn that around for a moment. If they show accelerating earnings growth this quarter, would that be a cause for concern for you?

It would be surprising, but given SUNW's stellar track record of meeting/exceeding expectations I'm not worried. Further, SUNW's continued gaining of marketshare from their competitors and growth exceeding every other H/W vendor excepting Dell together with MSFT's continued inability to get their act together technically with NT suggests the next few years look pretty good as well. Java, JINI, and other technologies contribute indirectly currently (by ensuring customers don't get locked in to NT) and will likely contribute directly in the future via licensing royalties.
