Lance,

NDB's touchtone number is 1-800-631-8884. You dial it, put in your account # and your password. Then listen to the menu and get ready to put in symbols for your stocks based on the letters/numbers on the keypad. For instance - CORX would be 2/3 for C, 6/3 for O, 7/3 for R and 9/2 for X followed by the # sign. Instructions are very clear but you should practice on quotes on the phone before trying any trades.

Sometimes I'll be putting in a trade on Web Broker and as it slows down or stalls - I quickly do the same trade on the phone using symbols and sometimes the trade is in before the appropriate windows come up on the web to complete the order.

When the web is down or slow like it has been for the last few days and the wait for a live person borders on the insane - the phone trade system is the only way in or out.

Hope this lengthy explanation helps.........Norms

OT******Meanwhile - Treacherous ice storms in the north east might keep us from going to my daughter"s regional ice skating competition....BOO! She'll be bummed. Oh well. :(
