RE: Anyhow,I want to be out of the market 6 months before Y2 so I can start storing some canned goods in the
basement, as well as learn how to skin and cook a squirrel.

Al, Beware of Squirrels. Some species of squirrel run on older chips (ca 1978) and are NOT Y2k compliant. They could skin YOU on Jan 1, 2000.

:-)

Tony

LOL.....terrific post Al, but I am greedier than you ( which might be my downfall again)....though given the fact that there really have not been any especially pleasant concrete developments - for Karen to be aware of or not- in running on 4 years now, one naturally has a doubt or two...or three.
But we know they have web hosting plans ( humble service though it may be) and acquisition intents. They will have to act someday. And their 19 mm products are just perfect for the brave, visual storage intensive, new digital world. DCR might recover and the Genesis and Datadock lines may grow. I continue to hope for something more than a half point extra.
But sure ain't nothing wrong with taking profits....
