NAZ March contracts softer than day's past

cme.com

No 'tech wreck' tommorow - just a gentlier trading day with reduced volatility I suspect.

Jan -- Doubt if DB would sell ALL their AMZN during earning's season - esp. following yesterday's INTC, SEG, YHOO earnings.

Rally still has a little way to go yet.

David.

> which means that they sold their Amzn shares in the past week??!!

I can say with 100% certainty that if Deutche Bank downgraded the net stocks today, they finished selling all their positions by 4pm. That's how the market works. You don't think they give their "recommendations" in order to help the small-fry do you?

Also, have you noticed that all the upgrades or downgrades come within 2 or 3 days of options expiration friday? Coincidence? Not a chance. They get the calls or puts as cheaply as possible beforehand. Eventually, in about 20 years, retail investors will learn the tricks of the trade and this kind of bulls*it won't be able to fool everyone, but until that time occurs, they're going to keep on doing it.

About as pathetic as Oppenheimer keeping the "strong buy" recommendation on Scamazon last week while telling all their clients to dump scamazon privately. (confirmed through three of my friends who are oppenheimer clients, btw)

Jan -- Quite possible. Is your thought here that DB is out of the equation so it is safe to go back in the water?
