Sorry to hear that Andy!! Only good that can come from it now is to learn from your mistake. I don't think there is too many that have not made the same mistake. Just remember..there will be up days and there will be down days, but there are many many more up days. Just check history. As far back as you want to go. It always returns as long as you have a solid stock. Lots of those. Nuf said...Good luck!

<<Public Admission: Sold Out at the open.......>>>
I too admit to a sad tale of selling Dell from time to time -40 shares in 1994( would be 1280 shrs today(Sob)
Lost 200 to a stop loss in Dec 1996 ( would be 1600shs today)
Each time it happened it cost me a MINIMUM of $7/ sh to get it back.
Sooooo.. by Jan 1998 I knew enough never to sell Dell, right??
Because I knew absolutely what was going to happen.
Therefore, when I sold 100 Dell for $9600 I bought two Dell
calls ( maybe leaps, I forget) which has more than made up for the lost stock.
Have you considered buying some May or Aug calls or a leap to participate in the probable upside. Its more risky, but could
provide some breathing time for other actions while keeping one foot in the stirrups.
Sig

re sold DELL at 74
Oh Andy, everyone knows that I did something similar last Aug 31st and suffered long and hard over it. I was too paralyzed to buy DELL back immediately (could have gotten it back for the same or lower for a day or two) and ended up buying it all back much higher.
However DELL is higher still then when I bought it all back.
Dont be afraid to get back in and buy DELL again Andy. *I hold AOL too * but at least buy DELL back, under 80will be ok.
Good Luck.
