Mr. D, What do you think about the Internet stocks? Have you been playing them at all? And, IF I am interperting your post correctly, are you suggesting shorting a stock to be "bad" or "hurting" most people? As a rule, I dont short stocks. I have in the past, but only the large caps that have gone too far too fast and their charts look ready to go down. And I havent done alot of shorting. However, from my perspective, shorting is okay too. Its just another vehicle for making money in the market. There is realy nothing wrong with that unless its done illegally. Many people here and on other threads dont understand fully the dynamics of investing or trading. I'm not suggesting this for you, but there are some great books available to read up on trading stocks and all about the market. I enjoy reading before I go to sleep most nights and on my bookshelves are a few hardcovers on the market and trading that are fascinating. Trading For A Living, by Dr. Elder is a good one.
