Maybe they blew their allowance by margining long Amazon and Broadcast.com to the hilt yesterday? Mommy made them go to their room and stop using daddy's computer?

Victor,

I was suggesting the possibility that perhaps Drenan's actively managed portfolio returns are just what you would expect from the beta of the portfolio. In that case, one might as well index in a margin account to create a portfolio with the same beta and get the same return while saving the portfolio manager's fees. Alternatively, one may buy AMZN.
