I will take a whack at it as well. Just got back about a half hour ago from appts. My impression is if a stop loss is in place at 5.00 and it is on 10,000 shares that if only 5000 sells to it and it turns you were stopped out at 5.00 on 5000 on the trade and when the stock runs back up to say 5.50 the stop is in place at the 5.00 only if a sell takes it out and as the Chief says it has to be on the way down at the market price or moving through it to activate the stop. My .02 cents worth...Hey what a great name for a thread.....LOL
