The odd thing about it is they "lost" my first attempt at a trade... the broker, who knows me by voice, remembered the details of my order and acknowledged that the day before's high was above my short sale offer price. The stock had moved up above my offer price by then and I both hesitated to re-order and to ask for an investigation. Sometimes I think he's trying to "protect me". Of course now in hindsight it would have been great to short at 44... learning - Dave
