Thanks to Walter and Elizabeth for their ongoing posts and Elizabeth's annual shareholder's meeting update. Intel's recent better than expected earnings report bodes well for their being even more willing to do bigger projects with Edig. Music is now a very hot ticket. We continue to be partnered with the cutting edge players. Celestial's successful work with Lucent's PAC fits well into a unique product coming out of Edig.

I HAVE NEVER DONE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE, BUT VALUE SOME OF THE OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS MADE BY MANY ON THIS BOARD.

The following is not about Edig nor any other security investment. It is a request for the curious to share their thoughts about a venture I've just entered. My e-mail address is posted at the venture site:

To assist any curious enough to check this out, the only store now fully operational is the telecom store. Most of the rest are in beta testing and 30 stores will be completely built out by the end of January 99. 30 more will follow each month. The full database for Amazon, The Gap, Toyota and all others WILL be on this site. THEY ARE NOT LINKS TO THEIR SITES. We will be adding 30 stores a month over the next year and the site will be fully operational by early March. The Gap is the easiest one to view for how all will be organized. All vendors must provide the lowest pricing for products that they duplicate in their non-cyberspace stores.

This is one of the most intriguing ways for the average person to get a piece of e-commerce on the net. I know two of the principals. Their talents and track records of success made this an easy decision for me.

The "Opportunity" button spells this all out

For the technically minded, the sophistication of their backend enterprise database and security blew my mind. 50 million transactions/per store/per day is a breeze even at 300 + stores/mall and 100-200k malls. That is astounding capacity. Off the record, Microsoft's e-commerce enterprise systems fared very poorly for many merchants over Christmas.

I predict that within 6-12 months this co. will be brought public and will have huge earnings even as an IPO.

Best to all:
