Perry, exactly right. At worst this quarter was a nonevent--higher volumes shipped offset by lower ASPs and speed bin problems. At best this is the second quarter of consistant positive earnings on an upward trend, on vastly increased revenue. Moreover, this is the closest analysts have come in many quarters to accurately predicting AMD's results--possibly foreshadowing some kind of earnings consistency which might encourage higher valuations.
