Susan Byrne (Westwood) likes inflation-indexed bonds and is thinking about putting them in her own IRA - what a joke; settling for 3.85% plus the rate of inflation each year when the market returns 20%. Unbelievable!!!!!

CNBC stop reporting splits as 50 percent declines! VISX split this morning and you had me rushing to the computer to confirm a split that was announced weeks ago. (I would have bought more had it gone down on the KERA interview.)

In conjunction with influencing the news, did anyone else note that when Ron? was interviewing some stock guy yesterday (Wed), who was touting some small-cap, he (Ron) nailed him hard to disclose his firm's position (heavily long). Ron also stated that CNBC reports had an influence on the market and they insisted on full disclosure. --Way to go, Mr. I--
