John: I donot know if I would agree with you that you would have lost following the Wall ST WEEK year end picks. That being said
you would have tohave been a total "nere do well" not to have made money in the last few years.

I am moving house and in the clean up I found last years Barrons Roundtable Picks. If over the week end I have the time I will do a check and see how they compared to say the S&P 5oo index.

Ruykeyser's show features the talking heads with the best PERFORMANCE records around and as such, stands above the rest of the financial TV community. Specific picks are just that -- picks -- one more interesting thing to consider -- you still have to do your own DD. The best thing about the show is the thought process the guests go through -- makes you think about trends. However, that said, according to the show's statistics, the Wall Street people who've appeared on the show have delivered well above average returns via their picks -- not shirt-losers as you've suggested.
