Today's news release January 14, 1999 06:45 Digitcom Teams With Teltek Communications to Deliver Long Distance to China LOS ANGELES, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Digitcom Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: DGIV) announced today that it has signed to Joint Venture with Teltek Communications International, Inc. of Anaheim, California, to deliver international long distance services between North America and the People's Republic of China. The Venture is initially authorized to deliver 1 Million minutes of long distance traffic from the U.S. into China, a volume that will be expanded to 5 Million minutes in three months. "This is one more very significant piece added to the Digitcom Global Network," said Jimmy Chin, Digitcom CEO. "Our appreciation goes out to Mr. Hsieh and Teltek for their long-term effort in opening a valuable telecommunications link with China. We are very fortunate to cement Digitcom's relationship with Teltek Communications with this JointVenture." Teltek is the U.S. affiliate of Teltek Communications International of Taipei, Taiwan. Teltek Communications provides network services to PTT telephone companies in Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, and China. The Company recently established network termination facilities in the United States.
