Kolorfusion, Inc. and George Industries, Inc. Enter Licensing Agreement Business Wire - January 14, 1999 09:15 DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1999--Kolorfusion International, Inc. (OTC BB:KOLR) Steve Nagel, president of Kolorfusion International, Inc., announced that the company has finalized a 20 year License Agreement with George Industries Inc. (GI) of Los Angeles. Founded in 1951 (GI) is one of the nation's oldest and largest privately held metal finishing companies, employing more than 300 people. GI currently processes products for hundreds of commercial customers in dozens of industries and is one of the nation's leading metal finishers for aerospace and military subcontractors. During the Letter of Intent period leading to their license of Kolorfusion technology, (GI) installed a state-of-the-art processing facility (20,000 sq.ft.) which can complete the Kolorfusion process on millions of parts annually. The Kolorfusion license agreement requires annual royalties and minimum purchase commitments by GI from Kolorfusion over the life of the License. Kolorfusion president Steve Nagel states, "We believe the GI license will open up many new markets for the Kolorfusion process including aluminum baseball bats, archery and hunting related equipment, automotive interior and military components. We welcome GI to our expanding Kolorfusion Licensee program along with Ace Industries, Inc. "We continue to finalize similar license arrangements of our technology throughout various markets, including such companies as Motorola (NYSE:MOT), Sunrise Medical, (NYSE:SMD), and Luxfer Gas Cylinders." Nagel went on to say, "Now, in addition to plastic and coated surfaces, through GI, manufacturers can customize virtually any aluminum product and have an unlimited range of Kolorfusion's permanent decorative anodized finishes." George Gering, GI's president and founder, stated, "We have remained a leading finisher because we work hard to bring finishing options to manufacturers. The Kolorfusion process is a logical extension of our current graphic anodize and multi-colored anodize finishes." In addition to anodized aluminum surfaces, the Kolorfusion patented process allows the creation of intricate, high-resolution pictures, graphics, illustrations and patterns on plastic and composite surfaces, as well as coated metal, glass and wood.
