idea of truth being founded in religion,

Truth, I find the idea to be very slippery. It is often vague.

The truth is very, very simple, for example; kindness is a good thing, meanness is a bad thing

Who defines a kindness? Is it based on what the actor intends or on the outside observers, or on the receipient of the kindness. Each has a different world view. This sort of truth is just a cloud of little substance.

To universally apply an example to beings ... As they say, all generalizations are wrong. It is a flaw to think a sterotype indicates a monolithic set of characteristics. It is a distribution and conclusions cannot be applied to individuals.
