Farewell thread,

This morning I sold my ASND position. 'Had to, it was all in Jan CALLs. It's been a long ride, from CSCC>ASND>ASND 99LEAPs>ASND 99Jan CALLs.

I got into ASND LEAPs before I knew about SI, but it was Bucky89 and djane -those two in particular- and others who helped make it easier to hold on. And, a special thanks to Techwatch for his recent post to the LU thread of WDR's reassessment of the prospects for an LU-ASND merger, and to james d brady for reposting it to the ASND thread; that one piece of information helped sway me into holding my CALLs through last w/e.

Grateful for the help. I'm taking the rest of the day off. It's been a stressful week investing, even if profitable. Good luck to all.

Probably the shorts eh? actually the driver of that white Lucent van told me that about the suit. it was in the shop getting some frame work, making it a stretch limo van. Feels good to quit hitchhiking though.

I can't imagine that this lawsuit has any legitimate basis at all. Although I am not a trained legal professional, I've never heard of any precedence that would support something like this. Reminds me of the time during the early 1980's when someone actually sued the Chicago Bears for impersonating a professional football team.

Lawsuit has nothing to do with Shareholders and everything to do with lawyers attempting to get fees. There are lawyers who make their living pursuing lawsuits against companies over these types of issues regardless of merit. Shareholders will never see a dime of money from a potential lawsuit.

This buyout is more than fair price-wise for ASND. Most of the drive up in price over the last year has been due to the consistent rumors of the LU buyout. If LU came out and flatly stated no interest in ASND then the stock would be under $50 IMO.
