Wazzy, CD's I believe all come from the same source, Valley, and some when in the top 100 even cost at wholesale more than 10.99 There's no way that 10.99 won't have cheaper competitors from time to time. Lowering the price imo should not be considered. 10.99 with 2 bux for shipping is about the absolute lowest price on a consistent basis that you or anyone will find anywhere net or in the stores.
Realize that most music will actually be sold for less when that music comes from other than the top 100.
the card is a deal as it is for 10bux and will require some selling. Anything cheaper begins to erode those profits that will happen at tsig lots quicker than they ever will at the competition.

Wazzy98,

I like your idea. However, keep the musiccard price at 10.99 and lower the cd's to 8.99. This will really suck them in. I don't know what the margin is though. I don't want us to lose money in the cd business just to sell cards. I hope they look into it. This will be a good one for Marty to mull over with RG.
