"Simply expressing the my own POV. We all know I'm a conservative investor. I think there are more like me then those who believe that hyping stocks will somehow make a company more successful and the stock price go up."

From the above I am not sure you understood what I was trying to say. If you had stopped at '..my own viewpoint' I wouldn't question it, but the rest really has nothing to do with my post. Therefore, just to make sure, let me reiterate. I only meant that you can perceive it as you stated it, or the other way around, less positive BECAUSE there is less negative.

I purposely avoided using your exact words, since you see it as "less negative" vs "excessive hype." Again, your choice of words already shows your POV. In my mind, it is really "positive" vs "negative." If you must use "hype" then it would be more reasonable to team it up with "bash." Semantics? Yes....but oh so telling.

Now, I didn't think the issue with the header was about positive or negative, but rather about information related to the company and not the interpretation of that information. Much has happened since the last update.

As to your comment -

"People come to a thread because they saw something that made them interested in the first place. The header doesn't have to tell them anything....."

All I can say to that is, I would think that they wouldn't stay long if they had to read in excess of 18,000 posts to find out what the current situation is. Then again, it might be helpful for them to read all the posts just to see how many times some posters went from one opinion to the other, and back, etc - and many of us have - but I doubt that anyone is going to do that!

Frankly, I am in favor of a new thread. As to -

"That way you can get all those who are very negative to join you on your new thread."

Guess so. If they feel it is their social responsibility to do so, or if they are simply compelled to do so. In any event, I am not pro "excessive hype" and am truly anti "bash." I am pro current information.
