Integral Introduces Its New 'Hidden' Antenna At the Consumer Electronics Show
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 1999-- INTEGRAL TECHNOLOGIES, INC. (INTEGRAL) (NASD/OTC BB:ITKG) is pleased to announce that recently its subsidiary; Emergent Technologies Corp. (EMERGENT) and its marketing/manufacturing partner NMT Ventures, Inc. (NMT) have unveiled the next generation of product in the NMT suite of wireless telephone systems.
The NMT communication system incorporates EMERGENT'S revolutionary antenna technology. Last week NMT demonstrated its products to invited guests at its hospitality suite during the North America's premier electronics exposition; The Consumer Electronics Show held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.

"EMERGENT'S new antenna is a breakthrough from existing antenna forms" stated Bill Robinson, Integral's Chairman. Robinson went on to say "The fact that the antenna is actually in the form of a small wafer (approx. 1" square X the thickness of a business card) has created much excitement in the Government, Military and Civilian wireless communications sectors. We are pleased that the management and engineering team at NMT Ventures recognized the value of our technology and decided to incorporate our "hidden" antenna within their new generation of wireless telephones.

Abraham Wei, Chairman of NMT Ventures, and formerly of Ascend Communications where he was most recently Vice President Worldwide Sales Operations, said: "Our wireless products offer advantages in range, clarity and cost as a result of the EMERGENT wafer antenna. Wei pointed out that users of NMT's devices will no longer have to concern themselves with the fragile nature of the common external antenna; a problem inherent to current portable communications devices. Until the emergence of NMT's systems, such wireless devices have used antenna technologies, which have existed for decades and have not evolved, technically. NMT's market knowledge, manufacturing capabilities and sales penetration coupled with Emergent's antenna technologies and ongoing R&D are poised to meet the exploding consumer demand for wireless technology products.

EMERGENT is a subsidiary and member company within the INTEGRAL Group of Technology Corporations. Looks like there was some pretty heavy buying in ITKG, just before 1pm EST today. I don't know if the company will ever really get its act together and become profitable, but at this point it looks like a decent gamble (if you can afford the risk). Today's momentum alone could carry the stock quite a bit higher. I do wonder what that activity before 1pm (indicated on the Yahoo daily chart) was about - anyone have a guess on that?
