<< heard this many times before >> From conference call...(You haven't heard this before): 1) Sampling K7's this month ("higher than 500mhz"). 2) Speed mix now favoring 400mhz K6-2's with attendant higher ASP. 3) In 1Q99 will increase ASPs while at least maintaining volumes (not afraid of cheap Celeron pricing because of 3DNow and 100mhz bus). 4) Now have excellent notebook product 5) K6-3 in production (it was hinted that the now-corrected "speed problem" haunting K6-2-400 held up K6-3 also). 6) 1 new top tier in the offing (you have heard that before) and 1 more top tier for notebook. regards, Dan
