Well, I'll be dipped...with a new tool to obtain trading logs, I see the ask actually hit 1/2 a few times today. So besides the obvious 200 share sale on the bid, there were a few others on the bid side today. When they opened the spread to 3/8 x 1/2, I count 13,400 shares that split that spread at 7/16. I also note that 3,600 were sold at a bid of 7/16 when the spread skipped up to 7/16 x 1/2. 1/2 on the ask disappeared at 9:43 and did not return in earnest the rest of the day. I don't see any action with an ask @ 1/2 for Wednesday. Very encouraging to see the ask back up to 1/2...:o)
