Roche merger and acquisition stories keep popping up. Last month there was a story about a possible Roche/Novartis merger. This month on the 5th the Financial Times ran a story that included speculation about a Roche hostile takeover of ZEN. The next day Bloomberg had a Roche/AHP merger story, which was repeated on Jan 10 by Individual Investors Online. Yesterday, the Financial Times again ran a story on upcoming Roche moves including a hostile takeover of ZEN, AAB, or a merger with a large pharma. Thanks for the response Steve. The Figures contain no pipeline products. New estimate for calendar years 1999 & 2000 not fiscal: 1999 - $2.13 vs $1.93 2000 - $3.13 vs $3.02 I would also like to amend the reporting date to the 27th not the 28th. Also what do you think of epitope article? I don't think they are close to bringing out, do you have any thoughts?

This morning Bloomberg is carrying a story on price rises in European drug stocks. The latest merger rumor is Roche/BMY!!?? Last week there was speculation on Roche/AHP in II Online and Bloomberg, and Roche has been mentioned several times in the Financial Times vis-a-vis mergers or acquisitions.
