Hello Henry Someone passed along a note today that the Fed Drainned Liquidity Today. They called it an unusual and very rare event. Last time this was done 10/97 7/98 and Today 22nd Can you add any of your wisdom to this ? What it might mean for the near future ? Next week, from the work that I've been doing, looks like a powerful week. Some long-range Time Projections are coming Due for the DJIA.... Hi Henry...asking the same question about draining reserves... 0) How rare is rare... of these ways of doing it, are any of them big deals...and how do mortals know what's what? 1) outright sale of securities from its portfolio 2) a matched sale repurchase agreement 3) a system RP with a foreign institution where the fed's payment to the commercial account of the foreign entity remains with the Fed. and last 4) in the spirit of R Crumb and Mister Natural, what do it all mean?
