Dipy,

I never quite understood the reasoning
around Nixon's tax evasion. If I recall,
his vice President Spiro Agnew was convicted
of tax evasion and was removed from the
office of Vice President. I believe he
even went to prison (correct me if I am
wrong). So I never quite understood the
exemption Nixon got that nobody else would
have been given. At any rate, Nixon paid
the price for lying to the American people
and that was a just case.
