Elmer,

What I like about K7 is the three cycle L1 latency. The decision to suck it up and provide the extra clock is a very difficult psychological step to take for a CPU architect, and indicates a real commitment to MHz.

If they can get K7 into production in the next few months, it will blow ASP's through the roof.
