Well, it's possible that happened.
Personally, I'm pissed that anyone can issue a downgrade after a nice earnings performance like that. All that good news....
Actually, CNBC has treated AAPL very favorably. I have only seen 1 negative versus 4 positive pieces.
That it has continued to fall into the lunch hour stuns me.
Going below 43 is just a crime....but I'm long, so I don't care.
Of course, my Jan 45 options got hammered. Should've taken the gain when it was there.....

Yes, now is a good time to go long. I shorted at the end of
the day yesterday, and covered today, but not at bottom. I might
get back in tomorrow. Long term it is still a good bet. But I
seem to have got the rhythm of the thing this time, and earned up
and down over the past few days. Good luck to all.
