Petz,
Jerry said in conference call that there were 40k wafers produced in q 4 and will be 60k in qtr 1.
He's looking for 5.5 million chips, same as Q4. Even with increase in die size of K6-3 seems that 5.5 is an understatement even though AMD know demand will fall off due to seasonality etc.
$30 seems about right for cost of K6-2. AMD certainly isn't going broke...with that low chip cost.
Jerry also verified the dumping of 800k-1m...downbinned 300/333MHz 66MHz bus chips that should have been the higher speed grades (366,380,400) as the reson ASPs dropped so low...per discussion.
Calculations suggest only 300k inventory pushed over into Qtr 1, est. 100k at 400 Mhz...

Regards, Jim
