Yes, but at the right price. A quick check indicates
that NXLK and NXTL have a joint venture called INTERNEXT
which contributed $800M to Level 3 in construction
costs in exchange for 24 strands of fiber connecting
50 major US cities. With today's news, I have got to say
that WCII will have its hands full, and NXLK is a much
stronger company than TGNT. Clearly, WCII and TGNT are
ahead in deployment, but NXLK has probably switches installed
in several cities, and will be able to ramp up very quickly
off of its existing fiber-based infrastructure.

Another interesting question raised by today's news: if
WNP's spectrum was worth $600M, what was the value
of the free spectrum TGNT received from the FCC?
