I don't know about shorting either. This is after all, essentially a .com stock. And either you are wrong in some way in what you've said here, or the following statement from the analyst in the news report is a falsehood. "The deal projects sales of about 7.5 million Aware-equipped modems in 1999 and 14 million in 2000 to consumers seeking the service, Wilson said." One would imagine he truly knows what's in the deal before making a statement like that.
