I have NEVER EVER had quake2 lockup under NT. His card may be overheating, or its a conflict with the S3 in the DELL. In fact, My NT machine doesn't get rebooted for weeks at a time. I have an X24 running at 103 Mhz in my primary machine, but it is well cooled.
