I was expecting the typical 1-3 point gap the morning after earnings and planned to bail that morning regardless. Wished I had access to the full downgrade report, as any I knew any charges of channel stuffing would be very bad for the stock. Too many doubters, still. If we get a chance at AAPL in the thirties, its a gift. Reports from the boards on iMac and Yosemite sales are very good. For example, at one Best Buy they said that it would likely be only one more week until they had sold out of the Rev. B's. I also noted that there was no iMac mention in the national CompUSA flier in Sunday's paper. Doesn't sound like they have an inventory problem either. Hope they still have some left though, as my mom buys hers on Saturday. CompUSA was running a sale on the Epson 740 at $249, however. Personally, I stopped in at my two local Mac stores. At ComputerWare the salesman said he'd sold 24 rev B's in the last day or two and that they only had six left. Probably gone by Monday was his quote. The store had a Strawberry and Tangerine iMac set up as demos. Saw someone buy a Grape and a Tangerine while I was there. Remaining iMac inventory was one Strawberry, two Lime, and four Tangerine. About what we'd expect. I still haven't seen a Blueberry yet! The Yosemites were up as demo machines and are just fantastic both speed-wise and in access to internal components. Wow. The other store had just a few rev B's, and the only new iMac box had an emphatic "Sold" sign taped to it. There's no channel stuffing or rev B. inventory problem. Meanwhile, demand for the new iMacs and Yosemites is great. Like you, I don't expect any P1 until May at earliest. Marc
