Now I am embarrassed. I never intended to be so prolific as to draw attention to myself. It was just nice to have some calm, and quite pleasant discussion, for a change.

But I shall never, never, call anyone "dude".

Please stay LG,

I love your thread even though I have been a lurker for some time. A lot of knowledge is shared with courtesy and politeness. No one needs to brag, put others down, or call names. There seems to be a genuine desire to be helpful.

I really appreciate it.

For those that want the teenies I am sorry to say I just found the magic wand out in the rain. It will have to dry out for awhile. It is going to need the heat of a big DBCC run up. Think you can oblige.

Just heard that MKTW will be priced just before market opens. (Courtesy of CNBC) Looks like they are expecting wonderful things. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

LG...sorry I am so late responding..I had to go out and snowblow all around our property..BIG job!!! It takes 15 minutes just to get all the right clothing on :) Well, regarding your question about mead..it is like honey beer, but it does not really taste like beer. We use champagne yeast as our starter. It is a very old drink...way back..you know ..like around stonehedge or something like that....it is also very potent!!! When my eldest son and I were putting it up in bottles and tasting each batch, we were swoonin! and we only had a few sips from each batch. It takes about 5 months to cure..the way we like it. :) We have some that is sweeter and some that is dry. We recycle Heineken's bottles, because they issue a new bottle with each bottle of beer..and then we get our bottle caps and capper at the wine and beer supply store. It is really lovely. Some people have to develop a taste for mead. And it must be served very cold.

Our honey tastes of all my flowers and basswood in the early Spring. The second taking tastes of my flowers with a touch of clover. :) Bet you learned more than you ever wanted to know. :)
