Turnaround...a company that is left for dead (as AAPL was) and is losing money consistently (as AAPL was), that manages to remake itself and turn profits quarter after quarter for at least a year. AAPL is past that.
I would say that's pretty damn good.
DELL is an excellent box maker. No doubt. But that's it. I don't understand why they are accorded so much latitude, because they are up against considerable competition (and haven't always beaten it).
AAPL is up against some competition, but the OWN their niche, and are growing it. In addition, they are into software as well as hardware. That's a positive thing.
