Les, all the womens designer clothes in ebay are fakes, and the sellers sort of pass them off as the real thing. They sell these fake chanel scarves on the streets in SF in front of Nordstroms. Exactly the same things I saw in ebay, in fact I have a few. They arent silk but there is a label that says "100% seta silk". The sellers on ebay say things like "The label says Chanel - 100% silk" instead of actually stating that this is a chanel scarf. Well, anybody that thinks they can buy a chanel scarf for $20. is pretty stupid anyway so caveat emptor on the part of the buyers but still it seems like ebay could get fined for this, or sued doesnt it? Or are they exempt from false claims their sellers make?
