A message from my guestbook:

Comments:
I hope you received my previous not. I am writing again because i am so disappointed not to see Tim on the thread. I am very happy that you posted your site where I can comment on what is going on at SI. I am not a member, but was going to become one, obviously not any longer. I do not understand some of the posters and what was behind them trying to dare Tim to come back or not come back...Nonsense. He has integrity and was brought up to believe in a certain way of acting and he must do what is good for him. That must be why I got such a good feeling just reading his posts. For the past two weeks I have made on his stock picks. I do not have alot to play with so my gains are smaller and will take longer to re-coup losses. Finally I felt positive about trading after lurking on his thread. How disappointed I felt as i am sure others did as well. Since i can not get in touch with him, I would appreciate if you would relay the following. I belong to a wonderful site called KingFine. kingfine.com It is run buy a group of wonderful people. always monitored. No vulgarities,no hype allowed etc. for the mean time, until Tim will come to a decision I know everyone would welcome Tim, you and all who care to visit and maybe we can help each other. Awaiting to hear from you Ossnat K.

A personal message from Junkyardawg to
Tim, this thread and SI.

I want to thank all of you for your support and kind
words. It has been one of the nicest things I have
ever heard of people doing.
As far as Tim goes. I think he has gone to great lengths
to express his desire for a online message board site that
is of quality and of honest and sincere people. This is the
things of which Tim appears to be made of. I must say that
I agree with him. I have been on the other places on the net
and been a victim of P@D people. It is not fun when you are
on the other side of a trade that someone has pumped and
dumped into your buying. Say all you want about it being the
person's responsibility for his/her own trades. It still does
not make it right what these people do. Enough said about that.
I wish I had never posted that post on the way I lost my money
in one day. I even had second thoughts when EB ask me how I had
done that. I thought that if I posted it someone else may find some
kind of value in the mistake I made and not go through the suffering
which I went through. I had never heard of "overselling" and if I
had had someone tell me that same story I would not have made that
mistake. That was my only reason for posting that story.
It is not nor has it ever even crossed my mind that something would
come out of it like it did. I never in a million years thought that
someone would want to get a fund up to get me back started. It blew
me away when Tim told me what he had done. I did not know what to
say. I thought that it was an act of charity and I wanted no part
of charity at all. Then I thought well if a fund was started of say
$5000 and Tim or Glenn or someone else traded this fund. If and when that $5000 grew into $10,000 or more I would take the amount of
$5000 for Sheila and myself to trade and donate the original $5000
to another fund for someone on SI. Maybe keep this going for others.
I have carried this thought with me for the last few days.
I have come to this conclusion. Although it is a great act of kindsness.
I am a proud person who has always stood on his own too feet.
I made this mistake and I will learn from it and grow. Most of what
I am today (which may not be much) is from learning from the
mistakes which I have made. I will carry on and be better from this.

I have since received several people posting on my guestbook that they
will no longer join SI because of this mess.
I have also received about 60 e-mails telling me the same thing.
In my opinion it would be a great disservice to these people.
Tim has no idea how many people he has helped just from posting
on SI. I feel that this needs to remain this threads objective.

Tim forget all about this nonsense of giving me $2000. And come
back to SI.
You will be doing a much greater service for others by doing this.

Sincerely
dawg
