Yes, stock market is not a zero sum game. When you make money in
a stock, it does not come to you from anybody else. Its just the
valuation of the company thats changed.

Options are zero sum game, here every buck you make comes from the
pocket of another person and every buck you lose goes to another
person who took the opposite stance as yours.
