Zeev, >>>I said that AMD's problem may
indicate CPU excess inventory<<<

AMD's Q498 problem, as admitted by Jerry Sanders, was a technology one. They had a design problem which caused poor yield at 400 MHz. Said they've fixed it with a design and mask change.

>>>Gee, you guys are sensitive...(VBG).<<<

Not sensitive at all, just get typing real fast when I see wrong info posted, even on a normally "lurk only" thread.

AMD's problem may indicate CPU excess inventory

AMD has nothing to do with RMBS. INTC sold out of CPUs. AMD's problem is AMD, not its market. They claim they had production problems. Please don't bring your uniformed opinion about irrelevant subjects into this discussion.
