You dont seem to understand. Barr has done the equivalent of yelling fire in a crowded theatre where a couple people get trampled with this abortion thing. We all know abortion is a hot issue and the right quietly accepts the violence (and in some ways, promotes it) that has been inflicted on many people in the name of saving "babies". The fact that he then goes and accepts abortion as a part of his personal life is truly despicable, disgusting even.

He's willing to defend the indefensible. That's the point he succeeds in making. Oh, and that his logic is lacking. Hate to be biblical, but I've always felt the turn the other cheek stuff from the new testament has the potential to make for a much more peaceful world than the eye for an eye philosophy god taught in the old testaent. I'm not a pacifist, I believe you can strike back when struck first- within reason- I myself seldom do strike back. But I am just an old hippie, after all. :-)
