Sam,
Our league was not as big as yours. We only had three age groups in Babe Ruth. We had the 13 year old prep league, 14-15 year old league and the 16 year olds. I think it might have expanded since I was on the board five years ago but I know we don't have the young kids. Our kids start out in Little League and then move up to Babe Ruth prep at 13.
I agree that all star parents are gung ho. I've been there! My son went to the 16 year old World Series in 1994. (Unfortunately for him, He broke his leg so he could only cheer from the bench) Who says baseball isn't a contact sport! Sorry for digressing.
If most leagues carry 8 all-star teams and they go for the card, you're right it should be a big hit. The parents will be pushing the cards because of the expense of all-stars.
Thanks for the info.

Sue

PS - I forgot all about fall ball! Thanks for the reminder.
