Well Jim at least you are thinking about it ... What I question is Jerry's
statement that the fix will be in February. I DON'T believe that AMD identified
this problem and modified the design back in September. This means that
the silicon now running in AMD's Fab has NOT been verified that it will fix
the 400mhz problem ... AND ... AMD surely has NOT committed all their K6-2
400mhz wafer starts to "untried" masks. We are still months from having
high volume K6-2 400mhz parts.
