I may be wrong about this, but I think that the commentators on CNBC and other financial networks have strict limitation on their trading activities. One does get the feeling sometimes that you see a somewhat perverse pleasure out of seeing a "high flyer" taken down.

It's just human nature for those who are not participating in the game to exhibit some sour grapes.....

Things are a mite testy over there on the RMBS thread. Seems the
company says it is only going to make 30 cents this year. Stock was
trading at 90. Too bad the company didn't start a web site and report a
loss, eh?
