To all - subject for discussion. Premise; LU buying ASND won't really matter in the long run because ATM is "last years" technology. The hot set-up for the near future? Probably gigabit switch / router (GSR). Maybe even using optical technology mixed into the formula. This opinion was derived after talking with an engineer friend of mine (not a CSCO employee). Thoughts? Comments? P.S. I don't even PRETEND to understand all of this stuff. The more I learn the more stupid I feel. I'm not saying this is fact. I'm submitting it as a premise for my own education.
