Waterhouse announced that the trading in the internet securities was so heavy that it crashed the system. The are updating their system to handle the order flow.

My brokerage firm had a problem yesterday when the MM lost his system during the morning. They had to re-price a lot of trades in my favor. It must have cost them a bundle.
