DS,

Yep, can't argue with any of those statements.......a few days, perhaps even a week, holding tight in a down market or drifting up in a consolidating market would be just fine by me. The real action IMO starts Monday. Super Tuesday.....lots of earnings.....then rest again for a day or two, earnings run starts a week from Monday! If earnings are say........0.41 or higher, my guess is it may go as high as 52-55. Kernan made an astute observation this evening.....he said this "stocks are going down by the percentage they miss earnings". If one uses that analogy on the positive side, let's say CPQ nails the quarter with a 0.41 (a nickel above estimates)......what's that, about 13%....roughly......if we manage to split where we are now to the new high, that puts us around 46.5......+13%.......that makes a shade over 52........How about a BLOWOUT quarter.....0.46 WOW!
a little over 20%.......that would give us around 56!!!!!!
I'll take it!!!!!!!!!

What's a few bucks between friends!
<ggggggggggggg>
